Our talented weavers weave Pashmina into shawls and other product with varieties of designs and colors, using traditional looms. Pashmina shawls are woven on a warp of spun silk because silk yarn provides an exceptional strength to the Pashmina product. We create pashmina shawls with follwing design specifications:

    Pashmina Design:
    Pashminas are woven into following four basic designs:
    • Plain
    • Patterned
    • Embroidered
    • Beaded
    The combination of above designs give the following more designs: (1) Patterned-Embroidered. (2) Patterened-Beaded (3)Beaded-Embroidered

    Pashmina Weaving Style:
    • Nepalese.
    • Tibetan.
    • Mangolian.

    Pashmina Compositon:
    • 100% Pashmina.
    • 80% Pashmina and 20% Silk.
    • 70% Pashmina and 30% Silk.
    • 50% Pashmina and 50% Silk.

    Pashmina Ply:
    • Single Ply.
    • Double Ply.

    Count / Weight:
    • Thickness of pashmina is measured in count. Available counts are 28, 40 and 56.
    • Weight of pashmina ragnes from 190 grams to 300 grams, depending upon size, composition and count
